- A baby shrug, from 3-6mos size and on up, as for colors- pink, brown, cream/offwhite, white, black, and green (not dark, like hunter, or not seafoamy) would be preferred

Wishlisting.
So for the sake of swapping I am posting a wishlist of things I would really like to receive... just to help give some ideas.
- Cloth diapering stuff (I didn't cloth diaper with Q but I would like to at least at home with the new baby, so I pretty much need everything to get me started, including any tips and tricks!)
- Maternity tshirts, short sleeve or long sleeve with cute/funny sayings on them (there are a few on the baby wist here)
- Knit baby Link outfit (I love this thing, it makes me happy) (free pattern here)
- Yarn ball earrings (like the ones made with actual thread/yarn), with either hooks or needles or 1 of each, a necklace/pendant would be awesome too! I love pink (and silver toned findings)!
- Baby Sweaters! (Baby is due in April, so springy/summery sweaters in sizes 0-6mos and then fall/winter sweaters in 6-12mos)
- Mei Tai Carrier or Pouch sling for baby. I have a ring sling (Q hated it), but I would like to try something else.
- Knit (or crocheted or sewn) shrugs! With nice long sleeves to help keep me warm, they work out well with the baby bump (and I tend to run rather warm, being an baby incubator and all). There are a TON of them in my Ravelry favs (rav. name- amystagner)
- Knit socks! I am a sucker for handknit socks, I just love love love them. I usually wear a size 8 in shoes.
- Cute Big Brother/Little ? shirt/onesie set for Q and the new baby. (we find out the sex on Nov. 16th so I will update this then) 0-3 mos size for baby and a 5T size shirt for Q
- Cloth nursing pads (here's a link to an example on etsy)
- Baby cocoon! (There are quite a few on the baby wist as well as in my ravelry favs)
- Totoro Mittens, in pink (free pattern on ravelry)
- Extra Pillowcases for my body pillow (it's HUGE, the 1 pillowcase I have for it measures 19in wide x 47in long), I would prefer one that folds over the top, so it stays in better.
- Reusable snack bags/sandwich wraps (in both girly prints and boyish prints or unisex prints would too, I would like some for myself, but I would also like some to get Q started so I can get a stash of them for when he starts school next year).
- Fleece Pheonix Suns PJ pants (I heart Steve Nash). In the unisex PJ pattern I have, probably Simplicity I wear a size Small, nice and roomy fit).
- Handmade soaps. We have recently let all our pump soaps run out and started using only homemade soaps that I get from swapping, haha. Love it! Not so girly scented soaps work best since we use them in all the bathrooms and at the kitchen sink. Q loves kid soaps too, especially ones with toys in them.
- Playfood for Q's play kitchen would be awesome. Here's a link to the food he has already, though there might be some new items that haven't been included (like the crocheted pie I made him with blueberries and apple slices and 2 crocheted ice cream cones). His favorite foods currently are tortellinis/raviolis, spaghetti (just plain noodles), and waffles. And he informed me today that watermelon is his favorite vegetable, haha.
- Obviously video game ornaments would be awesome (see post before this one for details).
- ART! I have been enjoying collecting art from you amazing swappers/crafters... craft themed art for my craft space (which has 2 magenta walls and white furniture), I would love a cutesy 4 seasons set, videogame/movie/nerdy themed stuff for our TV room (which currently has a Fight Club rules sampler and a Homer Simpson cross stitched piece, both from lovely STSers, that room has yellow walls), or anything with birds, trees, cupcakes/ice cream cones, kitties... oh! and kitcheny themed stuff for my kitchen (I am a small appliance junkie who loves her pink kitchenaid mixer, kitchen will one day be blue with white cabinets and have blues/greens and a little bit a pink mixed in... I am collecting shamrock, peacock and rose colored fiestaware atm)
- Notecards for sending with swap packages. I would prefer small ones without envelopes (even better if they have my craftster username on them).
- I will always be a yarn and fabric junkie, as well as sewing patterns (especially baby/kids ones), and extra wide double fold bias tape.
- I can always use another tape measurer, I have a ton of them and can never find one!
- Craftbooks/magazines (about sewing, crocheting, or knitting) would always be welcome.
As for extra not so crafty things...
- Any book you want to pass on! I am a book nerd and I will read ANYTHING, I am not picky about books, of course I have my favorite genres, but I don't always stick to them. Right now I am on a spy novel kick.
- And of course candy, homemade treats, etc... edible = yay. I am however allergic to aspartame (the artifical sweetner) so if you send something that contains it, it automatically goes to the husband.
WOW, that took WAY too long and seems absurdly long. Hope it's helpful. :D

Video Game Christmas Tree!
This year we have decided to have a themed Christmas tree... and the theme is VIDEO GAMES! We are kind of nerdy with our love of video games (I have Legend of Zelda tattoos on the inside of my wrists...), so it's pretty perfect for us.
Here's a list of our favorite games, that we would love to have represented on our tree... (though it's not exclusive, we enjoy most video games)
- Mario Bros
- Legend Of Zelda
- Sonic
- Lego StarWars series
- MegaMan
- Castlevania
- Animal Crossing
- Lunar*
- Street Fighter
- Tetris
- Metroid
- Halo
- RockBand/Guitar Hero
- Dragon Quest
Older versions, newer versions, we like em all.
*husband's fav, would LOVE LOVE LOVE an ornament from this!
And here are a few pictures of what I've manage to collect so far...
The whole box of ornaments
The Mario themed ornaments
A few toys we had in the house. The polyclay ornaments in the middle were made by freestyle. The perler beads ones were made by me. And the felted mushroom was made by corduroycat.
The Legend of Zelda themed ornaments
Made from perler beads, by me. As was the fabric picture one (previous life was as part of a checkbook cover). And then there are a few bits and bobs, like charms and pinback badges.
The Animal Crossing ornaments
Made from felt, by atsuko.
A few random ones
The Tetris perler ones made by me. The PacMan perler ones made by ptarmicwumpus. And then one made from a patch, that was made by ? (I can't think of it off the top of my head, I will look it up though).
And these were tins with candy in them (that I will be adding a ribbon to and using as ornaments).
And last but not least
Felt NES controller and Gameboy, made by sheepBlue.

Shop The Swap - Handmade Clothing
Handmade Clothes for Shop The Swap on craftster.org
Some items state that they fit me, I currently wear a size 5-7 in juniors pants and size 2-4 in women's. As for tops I have to size up most of the time to accomodate my D Cups, so I usually wear a size S/M in women's and M/L in juniors.
The first 4 items are all shirts, made from the Built By Wendy pattern #3835.
This is a great pattern (sadly none of these shirts fit properly anymore).
The first is made from a quilter's cotton, size 12 from the pattern (this was the first one I made), I wore it a few times (only like once or twice), because it was a little snug in the bust for me. Claim as BBW Floral, 1 pt.
The second is made from a soft slinky jersey knit, it was also size 12, which turned out to be too big, so I only wore it once or twice as well. Claim as BBW Peach, 1 pt.
The last 2 are both from knits as well (I love these fabrics, especially the ice cream cones!), but they were made in size 10 and fit much better, though they have managed to shrink lengthwise so I don't feel comfortable wearing them anymore (they aren't belly shirts or anything like that, I just prefer SUPER long shirts nowadays). These were worn more than the other 2 but only over 1 summer (they still look great). Claim as BBW Heartsor BBW IceCream, 1 pt each.
Next up is skirts!
First skirt is from quilter's cotton, again, only worn a few times (4-5 at most). Made from Simplicity pattern #4285, in size 7/8. Has a zipper on the side. Measures flat 15inches across waistband and 18inches long. This fit me when I tried it on the other day (but I tend not to wear skirts that don't go past my stupid looking knees). Claim as Floral Skirt, 1 pt.
Second is a slinky knit skirt, with a stretchy foldover knit wasitband (no elastic). I made this to wear to my brother's graduation but it turned out too big (I had a time figuring out this fabric, never did, everything turned out too big). I used this tutorial for the skirt . Measures flat 14inches across waistband (but stretches a TON) and 25inches long, it's not hemmed. Claim as Pink Skirt, 2 pts.
Third, is a lightweight corduroy, made without a pattern (based on a skirt I saw in Delia's). I loved the way this skirt turned out but I have NOTHING in my wardrobe that matches it (not colors I ever wear), so it only got worn maybe twice. It has a zipper on the side and measures flat 15.5 inches across the waistband and 18.5 inches long. I did not try this on to see if it still fits. Claim as PolkaDot Skirt, 1 pt.
And the last skirt, I did not make, it was bought of eBay I believe, it is handmade though. Has a cute little bird applique on it. I don't know what size it would be, but it measures flat 15inches across the waistband and almost 17inches long. It was taken in on the side opposite of the zipper because it was slanted on the zipper side but not the other so it fit rather awkwardly (it could easily be taken out to make it a little bigger). This fit when I tried it on the other day (but again, I tend not to wear skirts that don't go past my stupid looking knees). Claim as Bird Skirt, 1 pt.
And now onto the dresses!
First is made from quilter's cotton, using Simplicity pattern #4119 in size 14. This is a cute pattern, it just does not suite my body well, it was worn once to my younger brotherinlaw's highschool graduation (he just finished his junior year in college). It zips up the back and the top is lined. I did not try this on to see if it still fits. Claim as Pink Geometric Dress, 2 pts.
Second is from that blasted hot pink slinky knit! I started making this the morning of a bachelorette party that had a pink/black dress code... I did not wear it (you can see in the picture the neckline was never finished but I will finish that if someone claims it), as it also did not suite my body... if only I had long legs (and a few more inches, I am so short...). It's a darling bubble dress though, made from McCall's pattern #M5325 in size S. Claim as Pink Bubble Dress, 3 pts.
And lastly... a pj set that I made from the slinky pink knit... curse those 9 wasted yards of hot pink slinky knit...
This was my first time ruching (that's so not spelled right) with the elastic thread on the bobbin, it worked really well... only turned out too big. The top is ruched around the neckline and arms (based on a top I got from Target) and the shorts are ruched around the legs, both are hemmed just by serging around the edges. The shorts have an elastic waistband (they turned out doubly too big), so the elastic can always be taken it to fit better, I can even do this for you if you'd like). I would say they are about a size L... they are both big on me... the top is quite long (which I love), the shorts are probably a bit bigger than the top. The shorts measure flat 15inches across the waistband and 16inches long. Claim as Pink PJ Set, 2 pts.
